Build a Swim Pond (buildaswimpond.com) is run by Jason Cook in Utah. By using the designer or buying anything here, you agree to these terms.
Estimates, not quotes
Every price, quantity and size on this site is an estimate built from published retail, rental and labor data for your region. Your real cost depends on your soil, site access, local code, suppliers and choices. Nothing here is a bid, a quote or a guarantee.
You are responsible for your build
- Check your city and county rules before you dig. Most places require a permit and a barrier or fence around water deeper than 18 to 24 inches.
- Call 811 before any digging to locate buried utilities.
- Electrical work for pumps, lights and outlets must be done by a licensed electrician.
- Retaining walls, deep excavations and anything structural should be reviewed by a qualified engineer or contractor.
- Water is dangerous. Supervise children and non-swimmers at all times.
Plans, parts lists, guides and calls are educational help for a project you build or hire out yourself. Build a Swim Pond is not liable for injury, property damage, cost overruns or code issues that come from a build, to the fullest extent the law allows.
Digital products
The full parts list ($99) unlocks right away on this site for the design you made. The ebook and course will be delivered by email or download when released.
Refunds
- Full parts list: because it is delivered instantly, it is not refundable once unlocked. If something is wrong with it, email us and we will fix it.
- Wild Builder ($297): full refund within 7 days of purchase if no call has taken place yet. After the first call, it is not refundable.
- Paid design calls: reschedule or cancel at least 24 hours ahead for a full refund.
- Ebook and course: full refund within 14 days if you are not happy with it.

Calls
Wild Builder includes up to 10 calls with Jason, used within 12 months of purchase. Calls are advice and troubleshooting, not on-site supervision.
Test swims
Test swims at our pond are by approval only, at your own risk, and only with an adult present for every child.
Utah law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah.
